Balanced Man Scholarship May, 2008 Dear Future Cougar Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Houston . Your acceptance suggests you share many of the same skills and abilities that have served the many graduates of the University of Houston preceding you. As a current student at UH, one find university life challenging in many ways. Paying for an education is one of these challenges, so to help you; the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is offering a Balanced Man Scholarship in the amount of $1000. This scholarship is being offered to incoming male students who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, leadership, athletics, and community service during their high school careers. We want to reward men who exemplify these qualities, as we believe they are essential to leading a balanced life. To qualify, you must be attending the University of Houston in the fall of 2008 and return the application by July 21 st, 2008 , to: Balanced Man Scholarship Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a committee of UH staff, alumni, and campus leaders. Applying for the Balanced Man Scholarship in no way obligates you to join Sigma Phi Epsilon or any other group at the University of Houston .
